Madonna and Child Medical Center was established in July 26, 1976 and is owned and operated by the Cagayan de Oro Doctors, Inc. a group of specialists with a vision of building and institution that provides genuine health care and medical expertise.

Since then, the hospital has expanded to a 105-bed capacity, earning its status as a Level II general hospital and a mother-baby friendly hospital. The complex, which spans 25,000 square meters, now includes a two-story original building, a six-story Annex, and the newly inaugurated seven-story Medical Arts Building. Located along Jesus V. Seriña Street in Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City.
